The weather predicted rain, but we got flash flooding instead and the postie delivered a parcel right when the ceremony was about to begin but there was nothing that could dampen our day with Luke as our marriage celebrant.

The entire process of working alongside Luke to create our ceremony was one of my favourite aspects of wedding planning.

The way he had us separately discuss with him our story and what we wanted and then later meet up and go through everything made it so seamless and well thought through.

Luke let us tailor the ceremony to our wants and then delivered them in the most gorgeous way possible.

The easy going nature and level of engagement Luke made with our friends and family on the day is something we all talk about post wedding, many of them thinking he was one of our longtime friends the way he spoke and joked around with us, even at one point making me literally snort laugh during the ceremony.

I don’t even know where to start.

Yesterday was honestly the most magical and wonderful day of our lives.

With everything that’s going on in the world, I cannot believe we had such a perfect day. It was much more than anything and everything I could have imagined, and I am just beyond thrilled and still in awe that it actually happened!

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything you did for us. Jay and I were driving home last night and we were both just so impressed with how you did everything. You were amazing! The ceremony was perfect, and you were a fantastic MC. We had other people coming up to us saying similar things! It was great to see you also being able to enjoy yourself at the end of the night too - I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Wow, what a day we had! The fabulous effervescent Luke, from Make it Fabulous, truly did make the day fabulous!

Luke was friendly, easy-going and knew exactly how to relax our nerves in the lead-up to our special day - for which we are very grateful.

Luke wore a fabulous floral shirt, which matched our theme perfectly, and some adorable diamanté heels! 

A good tip for others about to be fabulously married: DO take Luke’s advice and have a rehearsal.

My husband Asrul and I were lucky enough to have Luke marry us not once, but TWICE!!!

Ok, firstly, a little secret, he is also my (big or older) brother so I really do believe no one could have done a better job because he knows us so well and we love him to death, but he certainly was the perfect man for the job and he made our weddings Fabulous!

Our first wedding, was the big celebration, destination wedding day at a gorgeous Villa in Bali with close friends and family.

Luke was our Celebrant, he provided us with a ceremony that was all about us even down to the finer details of creating a custom wedding certificate (as this was not a legal wedding, merely a commitment ceremony).

My husband was super nervous about reading his vows. He’s not really confident with public speaking but Luke rehearsed with him the night before the wedding, which I didn’t even know until afterwards. He said them like a pro.

Luke did so much more in the lead up; the documentation preparation, a sounding board, his knowledge and his genuine heart of gold to ensure our day was something to look back on and cherish.

Luke was also the MC for our reception, which could not have ran more smoothly. He captured everyone’s attention perfectly and wouldn’t have been the same without him. Our wedding planner certainly couldn’t do this and this is one of Luke’s strongest points, making the day run seamlessly. Incase you haven’t noticed he is a perfectionist, so he leaves nothing to chance.

Right down to the little things, that you don’t even think of, Luke does and he preempts them. Special moments that you look back and realise that the smallest details; needed to happen. For instance, inviting everyone to have their glasses charged for a toast or making sure that everyone is part of the last dance.

Our second wedding was the legal ceremony with just our immediate family. It was a truly intimate occasion in our backyard at our home in Geelong.

Both wedding days as different and as special as each other.

To this day there is not one thing I would change nor do differently!!

You want to look back on your wedding day and be confident that every detail was thought of and included.

Both of ours were that truly and Asrul and I cannot recommend Luke highly enough!!!

If you want a fabulous wedding that all your family and friends will be talking about as “the wedding that sets the bar”, then Luke is your guy!

Luke, from our very first meeting you were an absolute delight to be around and made us feel so comfortable with what was involved in planning a wedding.

You made us feel at ease through the uncertainty of COVID and assured us you would be right there to guide us through any hurdles we faced.

From help with writing our vows, completing all the necessary paperwork, run sheet negotiations for the day and everything in between you were always happy to help and there to calm our nerves. Nothing was ever too much for you.

You ensured all our desires for the night were met and kept the guests and us having fun until the very last song!

Organising your wedding is a daunting prospect at the best of times, and even more so when you're based overseas and you've promised your friends and family that it'll be fabulous. But with Luke as our celebrant, we needn't have worried.

Luke was there for us every step of the way in the buildup - he and his dog Dolly, regularly put us at ease over Skype. He got all the paperwork sent to us on the other side of the world with plenty of time to spare, and he had the perfect preparation schedule for us once we arrived.
